Materials use pack cost, pack quantity, quantity used and waste percentage. Labour uses minutes and hourly rate. Enter packaging, allocated overhead, combined selling-fee percentage and an allocated fixed fee per unit. Retail margin is profit divided by discounted sale price. Target retail prices round up to the next 0.01 currency unit. Wholesale uses the same fee assumptions as retail. Use one consistent unit for each material; there is no automatic unit conversion.

Pricing controls

Confirm each product’s materials as complete, or explicitly choose no materials. Unassigned material rows and incomplete costing are flagged. Target margin and wholesale price are optional; an impossible target does not hide valid actual-price retail profit. Material and fee assumptions still need your complete, correct entries.

Compatibility and use

Microsoft Excel desktop recommended. Standard .xlsx files with no macros or subscriptions. Software is not included. No hosted Google Sheets version is included. Use one currency of your choice; currency conversion, tax/VAT, bank feeds and automatic platform fee updates are not included. Fee and cost assumptions are entered by you. Calculation cells use sheet protection to reduce accidental edits; yellow input cells stay editable. Protection has no password. Save a backup and unprotect the sheet before sorting or customising; sort the full table. Instructions explain formula recovery using the supplied blank workbook. Results depend on complete, correct inputs. Screens show fictional examples, not promised business results.
